Kaki ku sejuk.. Kasut basah!!

I had the most awesome time when three of my friends from way back then came to visit Seoul. (Gamelan Astena rawks!)

When one of them asked me last year if I was going to be here for a long time, I immediately jump and told him to come and visit Korea. Actually I've said this millions of time to everybody who asked me about this. It was getting kinda boring being here alone, so I told everyone I know that if they ever wanted to visit Korea I'd be more than happy to be their guide. and these three fellas did!!

We started to hang out when me and my girlfriends (Helena & Jaja) decided to randomly join the Gamelan club in Uniten. It was one of my best memories there. Basically theatrical club gathers the most awesome bunch of people you can ever find in any campus. So, naturally these fellas are one of the funniest friends I know.

and because of them I had the best time in my most dull winter in Jecheon.

Although we were freezing to death in the minus degrees weather, we still managed to have fun.

I had the opportunity to bring these guys to visit my campus and they immediately fell in love with the open concert stage located in our campus ground. Well, since they were "legends" in the theatrical performance in Uniten, their instinct to do a spontaneous acting immediately kicks in. Check their performance below!! :D

It was definitely one of the best weekend I ever had in Korea, and because I haven't spoken Malay language with other Malaysians for a long time they made me feel a little closer to home...

Thank you for the best weekend boys! :D

What 2012 meant to me

At the beginning of this year there was only one thing I was excited about, my first internship. It was located at Cyberjaya , and seeing that commuting back and forth to my parents home will be a big hassle there's only one thing I have to do. Rent out a place of my own. I know that within the western culture having to live in your own place after college is a big deal. Well, not so much for most Malaysians. In my opinion, having your own place would either mean you got a huge sack of cash hidden somewhere, or you have a stable job that provide you more sack of cash. In other words, people with a lot of cash. On my first day of my internship, my colleague offered me a room in their terrace. Apparently no one was using the room anyway so it only make sense for me to rent it. Plus I don't even have to worry about driving since we can carpool together. The room didn't come with a bed but one of them lent me an extra mattress she got from her old neighbour-friend that move

The Dormitory

This is what my dormitory looks like. It's almost like a real apartment. Quite small, but for a college student it's very comfortable, with a private bathroom. What I like about it is that it got all the basics that I need. They got self service washing machines, but for the dryer we have to pay 1 usd for each use. They also have a huge gym room, and a computer room you can use at any time. The microwave and the water dispenser is a plus.

Happy New Year Malaysia!!
