The Brain-War is finally over!... for this semester

Been jamming my brains with facts and theory since the last couple of weeks. Yesterday was the last day of brain-battle (final exam). So now I can finally rest my head and get back to updating this blog for my lovely readers (^^) I have to say that this winter is driving me crazy. I was at absolute awe every time I walked out of the dormitory, and I can't help but feel thankful to Allah s.w.t. for being alive to witness this beautiful atmosphere. BUT the temperature was sooooo insane I actually thought I was losing some parts of my limbs from the frost-bite. Last night I thought I was going to lose my fingers!! Whenever I couldn't handle the cold weather I would jump in to convenient store just to warm up my body and then went out again.  Winter is adorable and insane at the same time. So, if you guys were waiting for the continuation of  my previous " EXCHANGE STUDENT TRAVEL TIPS ", please look forward to it by the end of this week ♥ ...

The Dormitory

This is what my dormitory looks like. It's almost like a real apartment. Quite small, but for a college student it's very comfortable, with a private bathroom. What I like about it is that it got all the basics that I need. They got self service washing machines, but for the dryer we have to pay 1 usd for each use. They also have a huge gym room, and a computer room you can use at any time. The microwave and the water dispenser is a plus.

More Malaysians are coming~!(^^)

So, recently I've heard some news that my juniors are coming to Semyung. Finally!! a familiar language are coming to this small town of Jecheon. People are gonna freak out seeing more Malaysians and girls in hijab walking around town. Yippee~! I've also heard that some of the decisions hasn't been finalized yet. Coming from my experience, I know that during this time some people are going to change their mind at the very last minute. Which caused me being the only student from my campus that came here last semester. All I can say is that, I know that most people around you would ask about the difficulty to communicate with the locals in korea. It is hard to find locals who can speak at least basic english here, which will force you to learn the native language whether you like it or not. Then again that is actually the best thing about learning the language in it's own country . When you are surrounded with everybody talking in their native tongue unconcious...

The 15minutes of Snow

The snow came for like just 15minutes, it was about 6hours before this picture was taken, but the ice still remained frozen-hard on most of the cars here. I almost fell on my back on the way to my dorm because almost all the roads were covered in ice! There is like this big basketball court that I always walk through, just to get to the other side faster. But as I started walking it felt like walking on ice! The court was flat and smooth, with no friction what-so-ever, and I was already half way through. So, I forced myself to just continue walking like a geisha. The horrifying part was that there was no forms of rail or any support I could grab on to while walking on that court, just in case if I stumbled. So I was like, " ..just 10meters more, you can do it! you'll make it! don't fall damn it!! " My malaysian-shoes are so not made for winter.  Well, it did protect me from the cold, but not from falling.

Autumn Walk..and some head-shot :p

  The new field (^^)

Colours in Autumn

Semyung University Blue Dragon Festival [2012.09.19] and 2NE1!!!

as promise.. here's the video of the party~! (^^)

Sunset in Semyung...

finally.. i took some pictures! I missed the feeling of pressing shutters one after another. it's awesome! (^^) All of these pictures were taken using Canon PowerShot A1200 . The cheapest HD Digital Cam that is ABSOLUTELY worth the money for people who want to start learning capturing HD pic but with minimum budget (^^)

They came!!!(^^)

so, as you can see here, autumn hasn't fully develop yet.. i'm getting impatient so i just took a random almost-orange-but-kinda-pink shot of the leaves :p this was around 6:30pm, apparently there is going to be some FIRE during the Blue Dragon Festival concert tonight.. finally the concert started with some students dancing to... u guessed it, the Gangnam Style. The song was played and performed for like 10 or more!! we were so over it by now.. but we might still be dancing to it if we hear the song in the next couple of years :p apparently this lady is famous, couldn't get a clear shot, but she got an awesome voice! Somebody told me her name is "NunHa"?? and as the concert was about to reach the end, of course, 2NE1 finally arrived!!! :D it was hilarious! Earlier our seats was like 50meters away from the stage, then suddenly the Host told us to be prepared. He was like telling the Sports Department students to create a human ...

Twenty-one!!

Sooo~ Yesterday this poster was posted all around the Campus area. I thought it was just some random promotion poster, and that they just randomly imposed celebrities picture on it just to make it more attractive. BUT! Something caught my eye, 2NE1 to perform on the 19th September... IN OUR CAMPUS!!!@#$% If our campus was in Seoul I would believe it in just seconds, but the fact that we are located so far from the big city made me wonder if someone was just making a poster prank! Jecheon is like a small city! our campus is like at the very top of a hill!! Surrounded by other hills!!! There's only one reason I could think of. Our University is freaking RICH! I don't know where they get the endorsement to bring Korean huge star to this small city. I don't know about the other celebrities, but 2NE1!? They are like worldwide man!!! They even won the 2011 MTV IGGY Best New Band !! Whatever, it's just 2NE1... mehh~ HahahHaa!! Who am I kidding?! CAN...

Comedy Concert, 3-person motorbike and free Chestnuts!

Just when i thought the evening class was boring as hell the night time that came after was quite awesome! There was a Comedy concert held in our campus ground, although i couldn't catch up to what they were saying, the moment the rap group started singing the Gangnam Style i started singing along ^^) Then we decided to get some food outside the campus area but there were three of us and only one motorbike! Since the shop was nearby we just gambled and went for a 3-person ride. Then at the shop, where i always bought my oden, the lady gave me a free Chestnut! Probably because she noticed i was staring at it in awe :p Lucky! But then i went back to reality with a lot of work that was yet to be completed (-_-!!) Ahhhh~ well ^^

Waiting for the Fall...

For a Malaysian girl waiting for the first autumn is a big deal! Especially when you are the only Malaysian here.. and I love taking pictures! Autumn scenery is one of my favourites! So, I can't wait! ^^
